Magazines - stores advertise in magazines that have similar target markets to their own. These ads are often image ads that build the retail name as a brand. To attract attention, some retailers pay for impact units of multiple pages, which may give them premium position within the magazine.

To provide direct consumer response, some retailers insert pages of catalog-like advertisments into magazinses.

Fashion needs followers, or it would not exist. most seek acceptance through conformity and follow world,national or community fashion leaders to feel confident.

It is important to understand how new fashion ideas are disseminated, or spread and how they are adapted to the tastes,life styles and budgets of various consumers.
